About the Library

The mission of the Roddenbery Memorial Library is to continue our commitment to public service, assisting all individuals and groups in Grady County to attain the highest level of educational, cultural, economic, and social enrichment possible.

Board meetings are held in January, April, May, July, & October on the 3rd Tuesday. (Once in a while the date changes. Please check here for the latest information). Meetings are open to the public.

Board members serve for 3 years, with 1 renewal of term.  They are appointed by either the Board of Education, the City of Cairo, or the Grady County Board of Commissioners.
